Born on December 30th, 1991, in Calgary, Alberta, to Deanne Anderson & Dax Sharples, Devin attended Jack James High School and later pursued his passion for gardening and landscaping, where his green thumb flourished.
Devin’s passion for gardening seamlessly intertwined with his love for cooking, reflecting his vibrant personality and generous spirit. He cherished sharing meals with friends and family. Devin’s love for food was only surpassed by his ability to turn even the most ordinary gatherings into memorable parties. He had a gift for mischief, especially when teasing those he held dear – a true testament to his unique brand of affection. Additionally, he possessed a hidden talent for billiards, mastering the green felt like a seasoned pro. Whether sinking balls or pints, he always brought his A-game. Devin's adventurous spirit extended to his love for nature; he often found solace and joy while camping under the starry night sky.
Devin will be dearly missed by his brothers, Dustin and Dalton, his sister, Dakota, and his mother, Deanne Anderson.
While Devin’s departure leaves a void in our lives, we take comfort in the memories of his laughter, his antics, and his unwavering loyalty. May he find endless food, never-ending parties, and the perfect pool table wherever his journey takes him.
In lieu of somber tributes, please raise a glass (or a deviled egg) in Devin’s honor. Let’s celebrate life the way he lived it – with laughter, love, and a touch of mischief. Rest in peace, dearest Brother. You may have gone, but your spirit lives on in every cheesy joke and epic party tale.
A celebration of Devin’s life will be held at a later date, anticipated in September of 2024.
