It is with such sadness that we say goodbye to Darryl Michael Minsky. Born and raised in Winnipeg, he moved to Alberta with his wife Chris where they shared their love of the great outdoors. Darryl had many interests - a software developer, chess player, Goldwing motorcycle enthusiast, an avid pinball player, camper, photographer and cook. He had an eclectic taste in music and played a variety of instruments which included classical and electric guitars, autoharps, harmonica and dulcimer. Darryl held a black belt in Kung-fu and certification in Scuba. He volunteered extensively, with animal shelters in Calgary and as Security for the great music venues held in Calgary each summer.
Of tremendous support to Darryl were his cousins and family in Winnipeg, and his family of friends in Calgary. You have no idea how much your caring and love meant to him!
Cremation was in care of Foster’s Garden Chapel. To honour Darryl, please make a donation to an animal shelter in his name to help good people do good things.
