Throughout her life in Calgary, the Crowsnest Pass, and Comox, Kay was always cheerful, kind, generous and resourceful.
She was proud of her 3 sons Fred (Sandy) Comox, James (Linda) Saskatoon and John (Susan) Calgary and adored her grandchildren Kevin, Christie, Nicholas, Megan and Daniel.
Kay was predeceased by her husband Jack in 2007. Jack and Kay were married over 53 years and built their business Simplex Cutting Tools together eventually retiring to Comox B.C.
Mom loved being with people and being part of the community as a member of Eastern Star, bowling at Chinook, dancing, playing cribbage and the occasional trips to Vegas and Reno.
A celebration of Kay’s Life will be held Thursday August 31st, 11 am at South Calgary Funeral home with a come and go tea to follow at John and Susan McGregor’s home starting at 1:30 pm.
In lieu of flowers Kay would appreciate a donation to the SPCA in your area as she always loved dogs and cats.
