Art was born in Toishan, China and immigrated to Canada in the early 1950’s. He made his home in Calgary, Alberta, where he worked as a businessman and as support staff with the Calgary Board of Education. Anyone who met Art, became a friend and he was always open to talk, sharing his opinions, and going for eats with family and friends.
Art will be dearly missed by his wife of 74 years, Jeannie Lee; his children and their families, Betty & Dave Lee-Draycott, George Lee, William & Betty Lee, and Jack & Sandra Lee. He will also be missed by his grandchildren Madison, Matthew, Allison, and Rebecca, all of whom he was very proud.
A Funeral Service will be held at Foster’s Garden Chapel, 3220 – 4th Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) at 2:00 p.m. on October 5, 2022.
Interment will follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
