Born in Edelény Borsod Megye, Hungary on August 21, 1948, immigrated to Canada in 1956, Anna passed away on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at the Rockyview General Hospital with her brother Bobby and his wife Terry by her side.
In Canada she is survived by her mother Ilona Szakacs; her two brothers Bob wife Terry Szakacs and Steve Szakacs; her sister Ilona Enevoldson; nephews and nieces Darren and Delia Enevoldson, Jona Szakacs, Britney Szakacs and Chelsey Szakacs; and her best friend Elsie. She is also survived by her cousins Piroska Sandor and Marika Toboz in Hungary.
After High School at Henry Wisewood, Anna moved to Vancouver to work for the Department of Immigration and later moved to New Zealand for 2 years. After she returned to Calgary and she became an Office Manager. Anna loved cats, especially Oscar her current cat.
She was a good sister and loved by everyone. May she rest in peace.
There will be a small gathering to celebrate her life on Saturday, July 3, 2021.
