Angus was born in Tomahawk Alberta, and left home at the age of 16 to seek his fortune. He married the love of his life, Edna in June of 1957, they settled in Edmonton, Alberta and started their family. They moved again and settled in Calgary in 1962. Angus had several jobs in his lifetime; including going into business with Edna to start Hallett’s Trucking. He retired in 1988 and loved spending time with family and friends, which were many, given his loving nature.
He is survived by his loving wife Edna, their three children Cheryl (Thomas), Gregory (Sheila) and Keith (Gail); as well as six grandchildren, Whitney, Greyson, Kennedy, Morgan, Kurtis and Ryan. He is predeceased by his parents Frank and Grace; three brothers and three sisters.
A Celebration of Angus’ Life will be held at a later date. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made directly to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
