Fred and Ruth started their company, Brink Wood Products, in 1976 and enjoyed working with their children and grandchildren. Fred played the piano for the Lightbearers Quartet for 17 years and blessed many who heard him play. They have been members of Second Byron CRC since 1968 and have many devoted friends there. They had a cottage at Sandy Pines and a winter home at Nettles Island. They enjoyed attending chapel and church at each location. The love and support they received from neighbors and friends were very appreciated. They loved traveling, especially cruises, Disney vacations, southern gospel music concerts, and hosting family and friends at Sandy Pines.
A special thank you to Pastor Rob at Nettles Island Church and Pastor Rick at Second Byron CRC for their prayers and support for Fred and Ruth. Thank you to Trillium Faith Hospice for their loving and tender care while Fred was under their hospice care at home.
