Felicia Shirley Perez

Felicia Shirley Pérez, age 86, went to sleep in death Thursday, September 30, 2021. Felicia was born July 28, 1935 in Cienfuegos, Cuba to Emilia (Dominguez) and René Hurtado. On February 12, 1960 she married her loving husband, Juan Jose Pérez. Together they raised three girls; she was a dedicated wife and mother.

Felicia was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Juan, in 2017 and sister, Victoria (Concha) Santamaria. Felicia will be remembered by her daughters Maria (Manuel) Lara, Isis (Charles) Jones, Rebeca Venema; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at a time to be determined. Interment will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. In honor of Felicia and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to JW.org. The family welcomes memories and messages in their guest book online at www.cookcaresbyron.com.
