Pat graduated from Junction High School and continued her education at Durham Business College in Austin.
Pat met and married Buddy Withers in 1960. She and Buddy owned and operated Burnet County Supply which was a valuable resource for local residents for over 60 years.
Pat had a great life full of many interests. She was an avid reader throughout her life. Her arts and crafts were a life-long passion which many others benefited from. Her home and yard were her pride and joy, full of thriving plants and artistic pieces. Pat was also a wonderful cook. She enjoyed cooking for others and families in need. Spending time with and spoiling grandchildren was always time well spent for Pat(Nana).
In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by her husband, Buddy Withers; her brother, Billy New, and her sister, Joan New.
She is survived by her two daughters, April Gordon and husband Kirk, and Tonya Dahmann and husband Keith; six grandchildren, Whitney(Justin), Kristen, Erin, Nikki, Shelby(Cameron) and Hunter,; five great grandchildren, Avery, Jax, Kiera, Bailey, and Makenzie; as well as a host of dear friends.
A celebration of life will be held at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 from 5-7 p.m.
