My dad was raised in the plains of Texas and he always loved going back when my grandfather had the farm.  He would tell me, isn't this country great, you can see for miles.  As for me, it wasn't that great, you could see for miles, you could also see the dust storms and northers coming in for miles also!  He taught me hard work, always had a project going on that I had to help him with.  He put up with me and all my wild friends and as I look back I'm not sure if I would do the same.  The mysteries of the universe are finally revealed, rest in peace and save a spot for me.

So many memories of Uncle Kenneth. A strong family man that always made time for reunions. (And I don’t think it was just for the food😁!)

My Father (Daddy) Kenneth Jackson, aka Stonewall, aka Poppie, was a strong and great man that always helped his Kids and Grandkids and Great Grandkids when ever they needed him. 
For me, he seemed to be the only who could help me learn something, when all the others in my family lost patience with me. For instance, I took drivers ed in high school, and automatic transmissions is what they used to teach us. Well, my Dad bought me a Ford Falcon with "3 on the tree" for my first car. It cost a 100 bucks and was in great shape, other than a crash in the front fender, where the previous owner hit a telephone pole. So I named the car "Scarface". 
Naturally as a teen with her first car, I wanted to DRIVE! First my sister tried, then my mother tried, then -thank goodness, Daddy got home from a trucking run and he took me out to an old dirt road and patiently showed me how to work the clutch and the gear shift. I was so happy, he beamed and held back from laughing at me. It was on the way back to the house that he told me "See, you can do anything you set your mind to, just stay still tell yourself you can do it." 
Gosh, that was so helpful to me for whole my life.
One other- when seeing a bunch of his cousins from his Mother's side, he said (while putting his arm around me) this one's my friendly one, she's always got something to say. "  So cute, thanks Daddy. 
I am so grateful our last conversation was all the things that should be said. I am happy I got to tell him, how proud and fortunate I am to have him as my Father. We ended with "I love you"'s. 
I miss him so much I cannot believe he is gone, but thank goodness so much of his legacy lives on in our hearts and minds. Thank you Jesus, for the gift of Ken Jackson. Rest in Peace

    You were my rock. You took care of Us when we needed help. I’ll never forget that. I will always love you.

My Uncle Kenneth was the scariest man I ever knew, growing up.  It’s funny now because I can’t remember why.  I do have some funny memories of him, my uncles and my Dad getting together.  
I’m very thankful for our wonderful and loving family. Keeping all of you in my thoughts and prayers.

Thank you Uncle Kenneth for all the love you showed me throughout the years. Thank you for showing me the trick with WD-40 when my engine got wet. Rest in Paradise now, until we meet again! Give my mom and dad a hug for me.
