away on November 22, 2016 in Burnet, Texas at the age of 49. Those left to
cherish her memory are her loving husband of 23 years, Rene Villarreal, her
brother, Charles Gates, Jr., her sisters Susan Hodge and Jennifer Sargent,
numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives and a host of dear friends.
Emily is preceded in death by her parents Charles Gates, Sr. and Maudine
Gates and her brother Randall Gates.
Emily was a beautiful, inspiring and giving person. A private memorial is
being held for Emily's family and friends to celebrate her life.
