Emily Ruth Prien

behind her daughter Jacklyn Hensley, son Joey Prien, stepson Dustin Prien and his wife Lisa, and

step daughter Tara Prien. Emily also leaves behind four grandchildren: Elizabeth Wisner, Brenden

Wisner, Jill Wisner, and Lucas Prien, and nephew Craig Katkic. She will be missed by her brother

Donnie Becker and his wife Debra and her sister Amy Katkic.

Emily graduated from McCallum High School in 1977. She spent most of her career working at

Covert Ford. While working there she met many friends. This is also where she met and married Joe

Prien. They spent 29 years together enjoying life and their family. They enjoyed fishing, working

around the house, and traveling to New Mexico and Las Vegas.

Emily was a loving and giving person. She was always there for others and put their needs ahead of

hers. She gave without asking for anything in return. Emily will be greatly missed by her family and

friends. We lost her too soon.

She was preceded in death by her husband Joe and her parents Gwen and Herman Becker.
