Carolyn Sconci Wier, 58 passed away Sunday, October 3, 2010 from multiple myeloma cancer. She was born January 12, 1952 in Austin, Texas to John Sconci and Margie (Brust) Sconci and lived all her life in the Central Texas areas of Austin, Spicewood, Marble Falls, and Granite Shoals.
Carolyn is survived by her loving and devoted partner James W. Hilgert, three daughters Michelle Lindholm and husband Scooter, Kimberly Wall and husband Willie, and Melanie Sands; seven grandchildren Rikki Wimberly, Kaycee and Tyler Lindholm, Ben, Brandon, Sara, and Colton Sands; one great grandson Maddox Williams; three brothers, Bobby Sconci and wife Gladys, John Sconci Jr. and wife Wanda, and Tony Sconci and wife Angel; one sister Joan Wier and husband Gary. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins and her beloved dog Jaman. Carolyn was preceded in death by her mother and father and husband Mitchell E. Wier.
Carolyn loved life, her family, and her many friends. Her favorite times were working in her garden, riding on the back of the motorcycle, fishing, and dancing in the rain. She always maintained her wit and sense of humor during the good times and not so good times.
A memorial service in celebration of Carolyn’s life will be held at 1:00 P.M. Sunday, October 10, 2010 at Johnson Park in Marble Falls, Texas.
