Becky Lynn Vaughn

Becky Lynn Vaughn, age 68 passed away suddenly in Burnet on Friday, December 10th, 2021. She was born September 25, 1953 in Fort Worth, Texas. After many years in Reno Becky had finally moved back to Burnet 6 days prior to her passing. She could not wait to spend time with her brother, Hardy and his family. She was a loving and giving person who had found peace with God. Moving back to Burnet made her truly the happiest she had been in a long time.

Becky was preceded in death by her father Henry (Pug) Willis Vaughn, mother Carnell Mabry Vaughn and her only son, James Don (JD) Gray.

Becky loved growing plants, flowers and taking care of her long-time furry companion, McKenzie, who she had for 14 years.

Survivors include her two brothers, Randolph Vaughn and wife Mary Lynn of Del Rio Texas, Hardy Vaughn and wife Kathy of Burnet, 2 nieces, Tiffanie Edwards of Burnet and Sally Reinhardt of Del Rio, one nephew Colby Vaughn of Burnet, several great nieces and nephews, a very dear cousin Betty Parisher from Cherokee Texas and Edgar Hernandez of Reno, who she considered as her own son.

A memorial service honoring Becky’s life is planned for a later date.

Care has been entrusted to Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home in Burnet.
