Altman was born in Austin, Texas on December 17th, 1946, to the late Grace and Altman Frazier. He was the youngest and only son of three children. He attended Liberty Hill High School and shortly after joined the United States Coast Guard where he served his country in the Vietnam War.
After serving his country, Altman was a hard-working man. He worked in construction and the trucking industry up until his retirement. He retired from Austin Engineering. After retirement, he loved to BBQ, Fish, trips to Vegas, and spending time with his family whom he loved immensely.
He was known by many titles; Brother Bro, pit-master, dad, loving husband, and papa to his three granddaughters. Altman never met a stranger and to know him was to love him. He was a great friend to many and would always lend a helping hand when he could.
He is preceded in death by his mother, father, and one sister.
He is survived by his loving wife, Jennifer Frazier, his only son Buster Frazier (Jennifer) of Florence, Texas, Granddaughters Holly Hull (Clayton) of Luling, Texas, Heather Frazier of Florence, Texas, and Rebecca Frazier (Dalton Smith) of Austin, Texas. As well as numerous friends and extended family.
He will be missed more than words can be said and he will live through all of us in everything we do. He will live on in all our memories and the love that we all have for him.
A celebration of life will be held at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home in Burnet, Texas on Friday, November 3rd, 2023 at 11:00 am.
