With great sadness, Yuk Ling Chow (nee Leung), beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on July 6, 2019. Born on November 11, 1942, she was predeceased by her father, Wai Sum, mother, Shuet Fun, and sisters, Yu Zhou and Man Ling. She is lovingly survived by her husband of 52 years, Ka Long, her daughters: Maggie, Peggy, Grace (Brian), granddaughter, Kaitlyn, brother, Thomas (Cecilia), and many nieces and nephews. She was a devoted wife, mother, Po Po, and sister and nothing meant more to her than her family. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening, going to the YMCA, travelling, sewing, and spending time with her granddaughter. In recent months, she had also taken up dancing. She will be forever in our hearts.
Visitation will take place at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 3789 Royal Oak Ave, Burnaby, BC V5G 3M1 on Monday, July 22 from 5-7 pm. A memorial service will be held at the same location on Wednesday, July 24 at 10 am, followed by the committal service at 11:30 am
In lieu of flowers, the family is collecting donations for the All Bodies Dance Programme.
