Both my wife and I had the privilege to meet Bill at a couple of Airborne functions. He will be sadly missed. Please accept our deepest sympathy.

I was so happy to be Bill's minister for a while at Calvin Presbyterian Church in Abbotsford, especially because I was born in the Netherlands in the fall of the year -- a country to which he and his comrades came in the spring to liberate. I appreciated the horrific and happy stories he also shared with me.  Our thoughts are with all those who remember him with love and respect.
