On the 27 of February 2023, William John Murphy (Jack) passed away at the age of 91. He was born in Vancouver, BC on December 27, 1931 and graduated from Templeton. Jack was married to Sheila Ann Robillard (Murphy) on September 25, 1959.
He had a career in construction owning his own company along with a Hotel in Wenatchee WA, and a restaurant in Coquitlam BC. He had a passion for designing and constructing just about anything, including a bowling alley in his basement, to mom’s dismay. He worked very hard well into his 80’s, then became a caregiver to his wife Sheila until her passing on January 19, 2020.
Jack is predeceased by Kelly Ann Murphy, and is survived by Mark Murphy, Kerry Murphy (Raymond Moffitt), Susan Murphy (Jeff King), and his 10 grandchildren 3 great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Jack and Sheila’s life together will be held at Forest Lawn Funeral Home on Saturday April 22 at 1:00pm.
