Mr. Ting Wai Wong

Mr. Ting Wai Wong was born on December 22, 1927 in Hong Kong to his parents, Shing Sai Wong and Kit Fong Chu. Ting was the third eldest of ten children born to his parents.

Ting was a good student and studied to become a veterinarian in China in the 1940's. After his studies were completed, Ting returned to Hong Kong to work as a veterinarian as well as to start a business of importing and exporting pharmaceutical products for veterinary practices from manufacturers and distributors located in North America, Europe and Asia.

In 1990, Ting retired from his business and moved to Vancouver to spend more time with his wife and six children. After returning to Canada, Ting was proud to see all of his children graduate from post-secondary institutions and become health care professionals.

On December 19, 2022, Ting passed away and was survived by his wife, six children, seven grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
