Tina was born in Manitoba and was the eldest daughter of Aganetha (Kehler) and Henry J. Giesbrecht. She was predeceased by her parents and siblings Anna Brown (2015), Erdman (Ed) Giesbrecht (2014), and Henry Giesbrecht (2014) and nephew Mark Brown (2011). She is survived by nephews Robert, Douglas and Kurt; nieces Colleen, Darlene, Carolyn, Diane, and Kimberley along with numerous great nieces and nephews and a sister-in-law, Shirley.
Tina retired from Canada Post after approximately 30 years of service and in her retirement she enjoyed attending the theatre, trips to Gastown and completing crossword puzzles. Tina was a talented knitter and seamstress turning balls of yarn and material into Christmas gifts for her family. Tina was independent to the end and still drove herself around Burnaby to run her own errands at the age of 90. Tina had a great sense of humour and always seemed to have a twinkle in her eye.
A memorial service will be planned for a later date.
