Born in China, Soo Har Wong immigrated to Canada, where she married and began her family. A dedicated and hardworking woman, she devoted her life to providing for her loved ones and took immense joy in watching her family grow. Family gatherings were her greatest delight, and she was particularly enamored with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Left to mourn are her three sons, Ken (Karen), Eldon (Jocelyn), and Anthony (Elsy); her seven grandchildren, Aleesia, Justine (Keenan), Ben, Lauren, Tristan (Minha), Bretton, and Brie; and her two great-grandchildren, Brody and Norah.
A funeral service for Soo Har Wong will be held on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 3789 Royal Oak Ave, Burnaby, BC V5G 3M1, followed by a graveside service from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM.
