Nancy passed away peacefully at Surrey Memorial Hospital on April 25, 2015, after a long and courageous battle with illness, with her children at her bedside. She was born December 3, 1929 to Annie and Wasyl Koluk in Pathfinder, Alberta.
Nancy is survived by her daughters Pat, Lynn, Janet (Walter), and son Brian (Lesley); grandchildren Shaun, Aaron, Brandon, Andrew (Sanna), Kenny, Kaitlyn, and great grandson Jace. She is also survived by her siblings Molly, Helen (Bill), Nick (Linda), and many nieces and nephews in British Columbia and Alberta. She is predeceased by her siblings Sophie, Mary, Tony, and her grandson Jason.
She will be fondly remembered for her love of cooking and the amazing Ukrainian dishes she enjoyed making for her family.
The family wishes to extend their thanks and gratitude to the staff at Surrey Memorial Hospital for helping make her final days and hours peaceful and comfortable with compassion and care.
