Mary was very kind and caring and helped her family and friends financially and often opened her home to friends and families to stay with her in their times of need. Mary also had a green thumb who loved tending to her greenhouse which she grew vegetables to eat and to give away.
Besides being a loving housewife and devoted mom, Mary worked for many years as a Cannery Worker in Vancouver. She worked long hours often on call where she worked at odd times of the day and night. No matter how busy or tired she was she always made sure to cook for her family and that they were well fed.
Mary is survived by her only child Donald and his wife Tess. Mary is from a big family of sisters and brothers who have all preceded her death. She loved and touch them deeply. Her surviving family will miss her dearly.
