It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Maria Mossa (née Loconte) at Villa Carital in Vancouver, BC. Maria was born in Bitritto, Italy on August 1, 1925 and came to Canada with her husband in 1962.
She is predeceased by her loving husband Vito Mossa and siblings: Leonarda, Vito Santo, Ambrogio, and Tommaso. She is survived by her sister-in-law Grazia (Ambrogio), nephew Tony (Maria), niece Rosa, two nieces Maria in Italy and niece Maria in Venezuela.
Maria lived a long and happy life. She will always remain in the hearts of those who loved her.
Visitation will be held prior to funeral on Friday, August 12, 2022 from 12:30pm to 2:00pm at Ocean View Funeral Home Chapel, 4000 Imperial St. Burnaby, BC
Funeral mass will be celebrated at 2:00pm August 12, 2022 at Ocean View Funeral Home Chapel with Father Rosemond from Our Lady of Sorrows.
Entombment to follow the mass at 2:45pm in the South Mausoleum, Ocean View Burial Park.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to a charity of your own choice in her honor would be appreciated.
