Leslie passed away on January 5, 2018 at the age of 88. He became ill on New Year's day, and after four valiant days trying to fight a rapidly developing lung infection, finally succumbed. He is survived by his loving wife May, his first son Kerry, daughter in-law Vicki, and grandchildren Nicholas and Rachel. His second son Colin, and daughter Carlene, son in-law Michael, and grandchildren Christopher and Evan.
Leslie was born, raised and lived his entire life in the city of Vancouver. He was a plumber (local 170) by trade, and a damn good one. At the time of his retirement, he had been employed with the Vancouver School Board for almost 30 years.
Leslie was an uncomplicated man, a good guy, and someone you could always count on to do the right thing, regardless of the cost or consequences. He and his stories will be sorely missed.
Funeral services will be held January 21, 2018, 3:00 p.m. at the Ocean View Funeral Home chapel, located at 4000 Imperial St., Burnaby, BC.
Arrangements under the direct supervision of Ocean View Funeral Home.
