Mr. John Edgar Fraser

John is survived by his children, Mike (Vicky), Karen (Randy), Steven (Jennifer), Wendy and their mother Marion. He will also be missed by his 9 grandchildren & their spouses and his 6 great-grandchildren who he enjoyed immensely. Also left to grieve are his brother Neil (Leona) and his sister-in-law & brother in law Barb and Wilf, brother in law Bob and his nephews and nieces. He is predeceased by his parents, Hugh and Lillian, and his sister Iona.

John was born in Edmonton, Alberta on November 8th, 1936. His career spanned many industries, including a pilot in the Canadian National Air Force, working at BC Tel, owner of Beaver-wood Contracting, and heavy duty mechanic at Motorways and Arrow transport. Until his retirement at age 80, he enjoyed working at YVR Airport in a Wildlife Management program.

There will be no funeral service by request, and the family will plan a celebration of his life in the spring. Thanks to all that have expressed their condolences to our family at this time, we appreciate your support.

We will miss his presence in our lives and are very grateful for the time that we had with him. Rest in peace.
