It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear, husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Giovanni Mucci. He passed away peacefully surrounded by his family. He is survived by his loving wife Ana, sons Daniel (Maria), Marco (Katya), grandchildren Johnny, Sandra, Gabriel, Marcus and great-granddaughter Leila. Giovanni also leaves behind many friends and relatives in Canada and Italy. Giovanni will be remembered for his strong work ethic and perfectionism. His love of gardening, building and fixing all things. Visitation for family and friends will be held Tuesday, April 16, 2024 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Bell Burnaby Funeral Chapel, 4276 Hastings Street, Burnaby. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at Our Lady of Sorrows Parish, 555 Slocan Street, Vancouver BC. Entombment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 3789 Royal Oak Ave., Burnaby, BC. In lieu of flowers a donation in Giovanni’s memory can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
