I am very sorry to hear of Carols’s passing. Her generosity was unlimited, amazing meals at Glen’s and she gave us a beautiful framed Chinese scene still hanging in our dining room.  I’ll never forget our trip to China with Allen and Glen. Sincere condolences to the family.

I’ve known the Chow family for the better part of my life . Growing up in Vanderhoof, Glen’s motor Inn was almost a significant land mark as you drove through town. “Momma Chow” as I always reffered to her and she always called me Vincent , was a unique and friendly lady and always greeted you with a smile. I always respected the fact that she  took great pride in watching and over seeing the family business in the background while playing cards till late at night. I will miss my friend Alan and his mom both . Leanne , you come from a family of hard working and generous kind hearted people. Carry on that name with pride . Your family will always be remembered ❤️

Carol was so funny, caring and generous. We used to go to the lounge after bowling night. We probably drank more than we should have and Carol would see that,  Carol would feed us and then drive us home at the end of the night. She wanted to make sure we were full and got home safely.  Super special lady. She will stay in my heart always. 😇❤

When Allen had long hair and was still wearing white flared pants, and Elton John glasses ( obviously quite awhile ago) he would sit down with us along with a plate of food that "our Momma Chow" had prepared.  Allen would look me square in the eye and say "you would not like it:)"  For years I accepted his words, till one day Mom brought me the duck she had prepared.   The next day I was presented with a large portion of fish ( red snapper), for the next 35 years, after praising Moms ability; we would exchange lobster, snapper, and Momma's magic sause. To my extended Family, I thank you for the honour and acceptance.  We have lost a very dedicated young lady, but gained amazing memories. Respect and peace to all, Glen and Mom, and all the loved ones we have all lost. Marv and Carm

So sorry to hear of Momma Chow's passing , she was always good to me and mine, she and Glen always had a job for me when I needed it, they helped me out when they knew I was struggling.  She could make me laugh as well I could make her laugh,  she was a great boss and friend,  I will have wonderful funny memories of her. She was one in a million !!!
