Carol passed away peacefully at Cottage House Hospice surrounded by love on Saturday, October 31, 2020.
Born in 1936 in Tai Sun, China, Carol immigrated to Canada on July 31, 1955. After living and working in various small towns in British Columbia, Carol planted her roots in Vanderhoof, BC in 1965.
Carol will be remembered as a woman who loved deeply, she loved her family, her friends, and her community. Her loving arms were always open to whomever needed them, she was truly Momma Chow to everyone who had the honor of knowing her.
Carol is predeceased by her loving husband, Chow Gok Lim (Glen), and son Chow She Wai (Allen). Her brothers, Yan Shek Gwun, Yan Shek Kow (Peter) and her sister, Ng Fong Hing (Diane). Carol is lovingly remembered in the hearts of so many, and is survived by her daughter Leanne Chow Kranenburg (Doug), her Grandchildren, Ryan Chow (Anna), Darrien Minnie (Shawn), Chase Kranenburg and Bryceton Kranenburg. Her Great Grandchildren, Maya Chow, Atlas Minnie, and Alex Beausoleil.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, November 12th at Ocean View Funeral Home. Please contact the Family for details.
