Carlo Palermo

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father and Nonno Carlo on May 3, 2023 at the age of 77. He is predeceased by his parents Alfonso, Anna Rosa and step mother Vita.

He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by devoted wife Mirella of 48 years and his children Alfonso (Linda), Rosanna and Lori (Frank), his cherished grandchildren Enzo, Antonio, Luca, Carlo and Theo and his siblings, Vincenzo, Marino (Valentina), Luciano (Carmelita) and Filomena and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews in Canada, USA and Italy.

Born on October 27, 1945 in Bisceglie, Bari, Italy.

Carlo will be remembered as a strong, tireless and courageous man whose greatest passions in life were work and family. He fought endlessly for 2.5 years as he battled colon cancer.

He touched the lives of so many with his kindness and contagious smile.

Viewing will be held at Bell Burnaby Funeral Home, 4276 Hastings Street, Burnaby, BC on Tuesday, May 9th 2:00pm to 4:00pm, Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday May 9th 7:00 p.m. at St. Jude’s Parish & Shrine, 3078 Renfrew St. Vancouver, followed by Entombment in the Grand Mausoleum at Ocean View Cemetery, Wednesday May 10th at 11:15 a.m.
