It is with deep sadness we lay to rest our husband, father, brother and grandfather, Bernardo Fernandez Olaybal, 74, of New Westminster, BC on September 5, 2022. He was born on July 5, 1948 in Manila, Philippines. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Bernardo is survived by his wife, Gilda; his sons Jonathan (Geraldine), Jeffrey (Annabelle) and Jermaine (Frances); sisters Elisa Mohammed (John) and Alma Villamin (Ruben), brother Antonio (Virgie), his nieces and nephews, and his grandchildren Jessye, Elliot, Elijah, Sophia and Weston.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Spirit Church, 244 Lawrence St, New Westminster at 11:00am on Friday, September 16, 2022. Interment at Ocean View Burial Park at 1:00pm.
