She leaves behind her husband of 68 years, Alfredo, and is survived by her 3 children, Randy (Mercy), Maria Rita (Romie) and Martina TJ (Richard), and predeceased by Grace and Rene (Violet). In her 90 wonderful years on this earth, Antonia was a grandmother to 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Antonia was born in Manila, Philippines on May 10, 1931. She was the 3rd eldest of 10 siblings. She worked as a factory worker and along with her sisters, she took care of the kids while her husband worked over seas. She came to Canada in 1979 where she worked at Dogwood Lodge in support services until her retirement at the age of 65. During her free time, she enjoyed gardening and taking care of her grandchildren in Vancouver and in the Philippines. She was part of the Filipino Senior Club of BC where she could be seen ballroom dancing and singing.
Even though we will miss her dearly, we find comfort knowing that she is now resting and at peace.
