Andrea was born in Semonzo del Grappa, Treviso, Italy on August 23, 1928. Andrea felt fortunate to have 90 years of good health, declining only in the last few.
He was predeceased by his loving wife Teresa of 56 years, and his son-in-law Robert. He is survived by his loving children: Gina (Robert), Anna (Mike); grandchildren Mark, Cristina (Nico), Lora, Michela and Alexandra; great-grandchildren Verity and Giuliana, all who gave him much joy; relatives and friends near and abroad. A special thank you to all of the caregivers who provided support over the last five years.
Public viewing will be held in the Chapel at Ocean View Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 from 7:00pm - 8:00pm. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, May 25, 2023 at 11:00am at Our Lady of Sorrows Parish, 555 Slocan St. Vancouver, B.C. Entombment will follow at the South Mausoleum, Ocean View Burial Park, Burnaby, B.C. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the German-Canadian Care Home.
