Kay Anena Pendarvis

Born June 27th, 1942. Independence, Iowa to Joseph Allen & Virginia (Nelson) Dickie. Moved to California as a child. Attended Bellflower High School. Married Robert D Pendarvis August 8th, 1958. Lived in Orange County, Ca, until retiring full time in Bullhead City in 2015.

Kay worked in banking for many years working her way up from teller to operations. She assisted Buddy starting and later supporting a successful family business Pendarvis Mfg as well as a successful business owning real estate rental properties. Kay enjoyed playing cards and board games. Enjoyed shopping, casinos, gambling, and poker tournaments. She enjoyed buying and selling furniture. Had plenty of curio cabinets to house all her collections, especially birds. She was spunky, enjoyed camping with her children when they were young as well as cruises and RVing later in life. Kays love for adventure even took her on a roadtrip across the desert with her mother in a 67' T-bird to see Elvis. Over the years Kay faced life's challenges with strength and resolve, and a little grit!

Proceeded by her parents and brother Ray.

Survived by: husband, children Douglas (& Leann), Robert (& Susanne), Brian, Michael (& Tamera).

Grandchildren: Stacie, Jennifer, Amanda, Robert N, Brenda, Christopher, Step-Grandchildren Jamie, and Cassie. Great-Grandchildren: Tamrah, Ingrid, Laclan, Eleanor, Allie, Quentin, Sydnee, Ford, Kayla, Haylee, Charles Jr. and Great Great-Grandchildren: Phoenix, Sekoia.

A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, December 15, 2023 at 11:00am at Desert Lawn Memorial Gardens in Mohave Valley, Az.
