June Marie Oakley

June was born February 13, 1927 in Winthrop, Mass and passed away August 9, 2012 in Bullhead City, AZ. June was a resident of Bullhead City for 10 years along with her husband Robert Oakley.

June spent her youth in the Boston area, and then she got married and started her family. June moved to Southern California in 1954 and then she moved to Ventura, CA in 1990 that is where she raised her family. June was employed by State Fund in Ventura, CA for 10 years before retiring to Bullhead City, AZ.

She had a love for ice skating, dancing, karaoke, keno and her family.

June is survived by her husband Robert Oakley of 10 years and her 10 children; Corrine Walson of Temecula, CA, Paula Halverson of Fallbrook, CA, Donna Haliburton of Costa Mesa, CA, Mark Ready of Hemet, CA, John Ready of Costa Mesa, CA, Debbie Ready of Costa Mesa, CA, Cathi Smith of Laguna Niguel, CA, Marianne Corns of Piercellville, VA, Timothy Ready of Temecula, CA, Patrick Ready of Rainbow, CA. , step-daughter; Debbie Fox of Knoxville, TN., Brother; Donald Sutherland of CA., Sister; Shirley Battis of FL., 20 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and 1 great great-grandchild.

Services will be held at Dimond & Sons Silver Bell Chapel 2620 Silver Creek Road, Bullhead City, AZ Wednesday August 15, 2012 at 2:00pm then burial services will be held at Eternal Hills in Oceanside, CA

On Friday, August 17, 2012 at 10:00 am.

In lieu of flowers. The family wishes is to have donations made is June's honor to Smile Train and St. Jude Children Hospital.
