Janie Villarreal

Janie was known for her loving heart, kindness and dedication to her family. She especially loved family gatherings, holidays, gambling (Louisiana, Livingston) and going to The Foxhole.

Janie was preceded in death by her parents, Gertrude Avila and Augstin Munoz; her husband, Rafael; sons, Tony and Rafael Jr.; sister, Rosemary; daughter-in-law, Cynthia; and grandson, Anthony Jr. and joins them in eternal rest.

Janie will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her children, son, Victor; daughters, Michelle (Cesar Sanchez) Christina (Simon Acosta); daughters-in-law, Mary and Elaine Villarreal; her sister, Margaret; brothers, Johnny and Joe (Judy Munoz), along with numerous grandkids and great-grandkids .

A visitation for Janie will be held Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Memorial Funeral Chapel, 1515 S. College Avenue, Bryan, followed by her funeral service at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
