Helen Meyer, 96, of Bryan, passed away, December 4th, 2017 at Oakwood Manor in Giddings, Texas. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, December 6th at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan, with the Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 AM, Thursday, December 7th at St. Mary’s Catholic Center in College Station, with Reverend Ryan Higdon as Celebrant. Entombment will follow at Msgr. Gleissner Mausoleum at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Bryan,
Helen was born March 20th, 1921 in Brenham, Texas, the daughter of Albert J. and Rosalie Elizabeth (Pribilski) Koska. She was married to Burney Meyer, Sr. Helen was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Center in College Station, where she proudly served as an Usher.
Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Burney Meyer, Sr.
Survivors include her two sons and their wives; Burney Meyer, Jr, & Betty Davis of Caldwell, Kenneth Meyer, Sr. & Virginia of Somerville; six grandchildren; Sondra Meyer of Calhoun, CO, Tina Bradbury of Magnolia, TX, Tanya Fosdick of Carthage, MO, Kenneth Meyer, Jr. of Conroe, TX, Tricia Mushinski of College Station, and Dana Worstell; nine great grandchildren; Sean Osier of New York, Phillip Osier of Lawrenceville, GA, Megan Meyer of Conroe, TX, Alison Meyer of Conroe, TX, Blake Meyer of Conroe, TX, Corey Mushinski of College Station, Justin Mushinski of College Station, Bradyn Bradbury of Magnolia, TX, and Dalton Worstell; one great-great grandchild; Cam Osier of Lawrenceville, GA.
