Sandra Elaine Medina Waters

Born October 24, 1946 in Waukegan, Illinois, she was the daughter of Frank and Mary Katherine C. Medina. Mrs. Waters was a graduate of Glynn Academy Class of 1964. She had lived most of her life in Brunswick and was of the Catholic Faith. Mrs. Waters was a homemaker and enjoyed reading, traveling, and especially spending time with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother Mary Katherine C. Medina.

Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Gary Waters of Brunswick, two children, Scott Waters and wife Carrie of Brunswick, and Shelley Holland and husband Michael of Prosper, TX, her father, Frank Medina of Brunswick, five grandchildren, Nick Waters, Katie Holland, Adam Waters, Lauren Holland, and Abby Waters, and a sister Dee Dee Nowakowski of WI.

The family will receive friends Friday evening May 8, 2015 from 5PM until 7 PM at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of The Golden Isles or The American Cancer Society. www.edomillerandsons.com
