Sandra George Courson

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 am Wednesday, November 1, 2023 in the chapel of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home, with entombment following in Palmetto Cemetery.

Born August 3, 1940 in Brunswick, Georgia to the late Jimmy George, Sr. and Mary M. George, she was a lifelong resident of Glynn County. Mrs. Courson worked as a Para Pro at CB Greer as well as other Glynn County Schools. She enjoyed reading, Crossword and jig saw puzzles, and gardening. She was a graduate of Glynn academy Class of 1958. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Franklin Courson, Sr., a son, Roger Franklin Courson, Jr., as well as two half-brothers, Bub Miller and Sonny Miller.

Survivors include two daughters, Donna M. Courson of St. Augustine, and Linda C. Lloyd and husband Charles of Butner, NC, a grandson, Timothy Lloyd, a step granddaughter, Crystal Lloyd, a sister, Betty G. Law of Gainesville, FL, and a brother, Jimmy George, Jr., of St. Simons Island.

The family will receive friends Wednesday morning, November 1, 2023 from 10 am until the funeral hour at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home. www.edomillerandsons.com
