Ronnie "Ron" B. Herrin

Ronnie “Ron” B. Herrin, 65, of Brunswick, died January 20, 2015 at SGHS in Brunswick. Memorial services will be held at 3PM Sunday, January 25, 2015 in the chapel of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home with Brother Charles Smith officiating. Born July 31, 1949 in Ware County to the late Leon and Edith Y. Herrin, he was a graduate of Waycross High School and retired from The Jekyll Island Authority. A resident of Glynn County since 1975, Mr. Herrin was a member of Arco Baptist Church. He was an avid fisherman and former little league coach in baseball, softball, soccer, football and basketball. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and canine companions. Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Shirley Herrin of Brunswick, three sons, Nicholas Herrin, Ryan Parker, Brenden Burt and special friend, Karissa Purvis, all of Brunswick, and Lloyd Williamson of Waycross, a daughter, Gina Williamson of Brunswick, a sister, Linda Rouse and husband Mickey of Waycross, a brother, Ray Herrin and wife Donna of Blackshear, and several nieces and nephews.
