Martha Elizabeth "Betty" Webster passed away peacefully and surrounded by family at her home on the night of January 15th, 2022. Her husband, Edwin Webster, and son, Edwin Webster, II, preceded her and welcomed her arrival in Heaven.
Betty was a native of Brunswick and was a graduate of Glynn Academy. Soon after, she married her husband and eventually became the matriarch of her children, Beverly A. Webster, Sherry W. Sanchez, Teresa L. Mistretta and Karen E. Lewis, ten grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews who all succeed her and celebrate her life.
She enjoyed gardening her many fruits and vegetables, cooking and sewing but her passion was always her family. Nothing made her prouder than having her family take up multiple pews at the First Wesleyan Church in which she grew up in and that her great grandfather founded.
Her "family only" visitation will be from 6pm-8pm on Thursday, January 20th at Edo Miller with a public graveside service at 11am on Friday, Jan 21st, at Palmetto Cemetery where she will be laid to rest with her husband and son.
Facial Masks are required and it is suggested to dress warmly. The graveside service is BYOB (Bring Your Own Blanket).
In lieu of flowers, we request donations be made to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund in memory of her father, William Lee. Donations can be made at www.nleomf.org
