Kevin Wayne Collins

Kevin was a joy to all who knew him. His smile and sense of humor were contagious and would lighten any room. Kevin never met a stranger and truly had a heart of gold. An avid angler and hunter, Kevin loved to spend time outdoors. A natural on the BBQ grill, Kevin loved to cook and always had an appetite for great food. Basketball and snowboarding were among his favorite sports. Kevin felt close to Heaven at mountain elevations and his last ride was down the slopes of the Cascade Mountains in the view of Mt. Rainer in February. Spending time with family was most treasured, with regular trips to the family ranch in the Hill Country of Texas. At home in the water or surf, Kevin spent three summers as a lifeguard at Epworth by the Sea. Kevin graduated from Brunswick Christian Academy in 2019 and was attending the College of Coastal Georgia. He will be greatly missed.

A Celebration of Life Gathering to honor Kevin’s life will be held during the hours of 2:00 – 4:00 PM Sunday, May 16, 2021 at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home. An opening prayer and reading of scripture will start at 2PM with Pastor Chris McEachern officiating. A catered reception will be provided in memory of Kevin.
