Joan Parker Ramsey, age 90, of Brunswick, passed away Saturday, September 30, 2023 at her daughter’s home under hospice care.
Joan was a military wife who was also retired from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. She had been living in Brunswick for 16 months.
She is survived by her sister, Lois Stager of Augusta; three daughters, Karen Bate of Boise, Idaho, Dana Barnard of Brunswick and Robin Gauvin of Fayetteville, GA; two sons, James Grosshans of Cumming, GA and Robert Grosshans of Augusta; sixteen grandchildren, twelve great-grand children, four great-great grandchildren, five nieces and nephews and her best friend, Mary Tipton.
A catholic mass will be held in Augusta later in October.
