Mr. Proctor was born December 20, 1942, in Jewett Missouri and had lived in Jones County for the past thirty years. He was the son of the late Lynard Proctor and Christine Ford Proctor. Mr. Proctor honorably served his country with the United States Navy and was retired from Robins Air Force Base working in aviation and also retired from Southern Railroad.
Mr. Proctor is survived by his sons and daughter: Jimmy Ray Jr., Joseph Lee, Michael Lewis, Nancy Ellen and Jim Owens; grandchildren: Susanna, Vickie, Lee, Jinna, Tyler, Billy, Tara and by his great-grandchildren: Seth, Kae-Leigh, Caden, Jacob, Morgan, Jacob, Vada, Zachary and Damian.
