Jamie was born, January 7, 1968 in Brunswick, GA. The son of Dennie Strickland and Gail Mobley. Jamie was a 1986 graduate of Glynn Academy and also attended Brunswick Junior College (College of Coastal Georgia). He was an excellent carpenter and a very gifted craftsman in his trade. Being a very charismatic person, Jamie never met a stranger and created many friends throughout his life time. His great sense of humor led to lifelong friendships where he shared his love for the Georgia Bulldogs, fishing and cooking. James was also a member of the Advent Christian Church. He will be truly missed by his family and friends.
Left to cherish the many wonderful memories of Jamie are his mother, Gail Mobley; his father, Dennie Strickland; his sister, Denise Strickland Beck; as well as his nieces, Anna Beck and Ansley Beck all of Brunswick, GA. His beloved puppies, Bella and Buddy who were his heart and constant companions.
Visitation for Jamie will be Friday, August 13, 2021 from 6-8pm in the Brunswick Room of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home, 3321 Glynn Ave., Brunswick, GA. Services to celebrate Jamie's life will be held Saturday, August 14, 2021 in the Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00pm with Pastor Dennie Waters officiating. Pallbearers will be, Tommy Beck, Eric Adamson, Robbie Lang, Mark Flynn, Dale Wilson, and Greg Roberson. The burial will follow the service in Palmetto Cemetery.
