Dr. Harriet Faye Boddiford, age 85, of Brunswick, Georgia passed away on Thursday, August 10, 2023 at her residence.
She was a native of Screven County, Georgia and had been a resident of Brunswick since 1978. Faye gained her Doctorate of Education after many years of hard work. She retired from Glynn County School System as the Director of Adult Education Center for the Tri County. She was a member of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church and The Daughters of The King. Faye was an avid reader and a huge promoter of Education. She was a true modern day matriarch. Her love and faith extended well beyond her family, their friends, and community.
Faye is survived by her daughter, Penny M. (James) Mills of Sardis, Georgia; 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three sons: Charles R. Morgan, Robert E Morgan, and Scott B. Morgan, and a grandson, Scott B. Morgan II.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, August 19, 2023 at 11:00 AM at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church. Memorial Contributions may be made in her honor to St. Mark’s Episcopal Church.
