Diane Schilleci Mosley

Diane Schilleci Mosley, 75, of Birmingham, Alabama departed this life Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at her residence in St. Simons Island, GA. A Celebration of Life service will be held Friday, December 9, 11 a.m. at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Birmingham, AL.

Diane was born April 1, 1947 in Birmingham, Alabama to the late Joseph Bernard and Mary Grace R. Schilleci. She had been a resident of St. Simons Island, GA for the past five years and enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and especially her grandsons. She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Birmingham. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Ervin Mosley; brothers, Charles Anthony Schilleci and Joseph Bernard Schilleci Jr. and sister, Michelle Schilleci Brown.

Survivors include two children, Jeremy Mosley (wife Lindsay) of St. Simons Island, Mary Alice Mosley of Birmingham, two grandchildren, Harmon and Charlie Mosley, and her sister, Mary Louise Mancuso of Eclectic, AL.

Diane was a retired educator from the Jefferson County Alabama School System where she worked for 23 years at Leeds Junior High School. She will also be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother and friend.
