As you mourn the loss of Carol Jane, may it comfort you to know that there is rejoicing in Heaven at her arrival.

Carol was a follower of Christ, and a witness to His saving grace.  She lives with Him in Glory!

We will always remember Carol as a wife who supported her husband in his hobbies & interests. In this case it was taking the time & effort to come to Ocala to attend the TDI get-togethers. Though my conversations were usually shorter with her than with you, I still remember her enthusiasm at coming to those events. Sally shared with me how much she enjoyed both Carols at our home, and Sally speaks often about how they'd talk while we puttered in the shop.

God promised us eternal life but only after we left this world. Let us all endure the temporary pain of missing those we love so that we may experience the PROMISE and GIFT of life with all those we have loved, along with our Savior who made it all possible. I truly believe when we get to heaven and see the joy that we've inherited, we'll laugh a bit at the temporary sorrows we now face in order to experience such magnificent, eternal joy.

Know that we're here if you need us. Just call.

We know you will miss her physical presence, but we also know you will claim God's promises.  He has promised that He has prepared a very special place for her and that she is now resting in His arms for all eternity. I know I have not been the pefect son. I have many faults and issues that I may carry with me for the rest of my life. I promise that I will do my best to work on my issues and not let them get the best of me. Didn't know Carol all that well, Having met her several times when she accompanied Lew to TDI  Meets.  My initial impression of her being a Southern Lady was reinforced each time we met.  She passed from the lives of those who knew her far too early.  I trust that the void in her family's lives will be filled by their memories of her contributions to their lives. I did not know Carol at EVANS HS, only remember seeing the cute "older" student around the halls.  But, through facebook, I became her friend and she was a lovely, kind woman.  Our Sincerest Sympathies go out to Carol's Family, during this very sad time.

We share your loss, but know you must be devastated.  We are so thankful that Carol loved the Lord and that she had many happy years with you and the children. Lew, you know how I felt about Carol, we were the the best of friends as well as cousins.  We had lost contact for several years, but had found one another again.  We had such a great time when you visited with us, and sorry we didn't do it again. I will miss her so much, but am looking forward to the time we will meet again in Heaven. I am sure she and Jeannie are remembering the good times the three of us had as we were growing up.

I am so sorry for your loss of such a dear wife, mother, and sister..... Carol was also a good friend.  Since first grade, I was another childhood friend in Plymouth, IN.  We had reconnected in recent years through our class reunions and via the medium of e-mail. She was a fervent Christian who openly shared her faith with others so I know she was ready to meet her Heavenly Father.  She will surely be missed by all who knew and loved her. I do plan to attend the memorial service; meanwhile, please know my thoughts and prayers are with you.

Lew and family,
Carol was my friend growing up in Plymouth, In.  We both lived on Pearl St and attended Webster Elementary.  The last few years we reunited through class reunions.  What wonderful memories I have!  Her loving smile will be missed.
