I’m shocked to learn of  Brian’s passing!! I’ve been trying to call him sense last March . He wanted me to stop by his place and golf . If someone could please fill me in on details of Brian I’d be grateful.

Growing up my family always knew Brian as "Big Boy".  If anyone knew my dad Herman Fons, they always had a nickname and that's how we always met them.  From a young child until now, I always knew Big Boy as one of my dads best friends. He was always such a gentle soul and so kind to our family even after my dad passed away in March of 2014.  After dad passed away, Big Boy came to visit mom and I at the house because he wanted to check on us even though seeing our family was very hard for him. I  could see it in his eyes how much he missed  dad.  After working together for years, we gave Big Boy a keep sake from his time at the Vancouver Olympics with dad... Lets just say they always made memories! I remember a few months ago I turned on dads cell phone for the first time since he passed, Big Boy was one of the most recent text messages because he was checking on his friend and letting him know how much he loved him.  I will never forget Big Boy and the amazing friendship he had with my dad.  Now they are celebrating and continuing to make memories in heaven.  The Fons family will be thinking about your family and sending so much love during this difficult time.

I only knew him a short time, but what a good and kind person

I worked beside Brian for the last 4 months and he was the most hardworking, sharp, upstanding, genuinely funny, and joyous person I’ve had the pleasure of working with. He will be greatly missed by all of us. Rest easy Brian. 

I only meet Brian a couple of times but I thought he was a good man. Rest in peace
