Rodolfo "Rudy" Treviño Jr., 23, our beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend entered into eternal rest on Friday, January 2, 2015, in Lubbock, Texas. Born in Aurora, Illinois he spent the majority of his life in Brownsville, Texas graduating from Hanna High School, and receiving his degree from Texas Tech University.
A quiet soul and generous spirit, Rudy was well-respected by all who were blessed to have known him. Very much like his father, he dedicated himself to hard work and valued family above all else. From spoiling his nieces to working with the youth at his hometown and college churches, he had a heart for children. More than anything, Rudy had a knack for being able to reach out to people and give them strength whenever the situation called which will be one of the most special things remembered about his all too brief time spent on Earth.
He is survived by his proud parents, Rodolfo and Angie Treviño; three loving sisters, Melinda Aguirre, Roxie Treviño, and Ana Laura Cisneros; two brother-in-laws, Cristobal Cisneros, Jr. and Samuel Aguirre; and two nieces, Arya Milanee Aguirre and Camila Maria Cisneros.
Visitation will be held Friday, January 9, 2015 from 11:00a.m. to 9:00p.m. with a Rosary to be conducted at 7:00p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista.
