Mario Z. Hernandez

His work ethic was unmatched working until his last day with over 40 years of hard work. Unmatched kindness and compassion for any person needing help. He would go out of his way to help all. An individual with great honor and always fulfilling his promises. He loved his family with a big heart enough to make room for all and then some. He had great passion to keeping his beloved pets safe and very loved. His dogs never missed a meal. His spoiled cats always had their treats and his birds never went without their food during the evenings.

Mario is survived by his children Mario A. Hernandez (Marisol), Edna Muñoz (Juan), Esmeralda Espitia (Victor); his mother Pilar Zumaya Hernandez; his siblings Maria Concepcion Hernandez, Jose Hernandez, Teodoro Hernandez and Felipa Hernandez; his grandchildren Vince, Nathan, Ian, Daryn and Kenzie.

Mario was preceded in death by his wife Maria S. Hernandez; his father Castalo Hernandez; his siblings Martin Hernandez, Norma Hernandez and Guadalupe Hernandez.

Mario Z. Hernandez leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, friends and coworkers to cherish his memory.

A visitation for Mario will be held Thursday, October 19, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a rosary at 7:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista, 125 Mcdavitt Blvd., Brownsville, Texas 78521.
